The second update for Total War: THREE KINGDOMS is now in beta!

This patch chiefly addresses stability issues, along with some high-priority changes in response to player feedback.

TOTAL WAR: THREE KINGDOMS – UPDATE 2 BETA
This is the second post-launch update for Total War: THREE KINGDOMS and chiefly addresses stability issues along with some high-priority changes in response to player feedback.

Our patching focus in the short term is very much on addressing stability concerns, though we will add extra items where they do not further risk stability.

Over time, we will move from immediate stability fixes to more widely spaced updates addressing balance and other changes.

There will be plenty more updates to come, so if you’re experiencing an issue please head to our support forums and report it.

HOW TO GET THE UPDATE
This update is offered as an opt-in beta as we continue to work on further fixes and improvements. To get the update, please follow these instructions:

1) Right-click on Total War: THREE KINGDOMS in your Steam library
2) Click Properties and click the Betas tab
3) In the drop-down menu, select the update_beta option
4) Close the window and your build will automatically update

If you experience any unexpected issues with this beta update, you can roll back to the previous version by repeating the instructions above and, in the betas dropdown menu, selecting None. If you do experience any issues, again please head to our support forums and report them.

UPDATE NOTES
TECHNICAL
+ Several further known crashes have been addressed
+ All multiplayer lobbies should now be clearly visible

FUNCTIONALITY
+ Russian and European users should now be able to see Chinese text written in chat
+ Removed some inappropriate character names that were being applied to generic characters

BALANCE
+ Reduced Yuan Shao’s desire to vassalise every faction under the sun. This is a first-pass balance change, and we’ll be observing his behaviour and player feedback over the coming weeks to assess if further changes are required
+ Generals without the Cruel trait will no longer trigger the Flogging the Troops event. This means Liu Bei will no longer receive this event
+ The event that causes Zhou Yu to join Liu Bei’s faction now triggers correctly
+ Reduced the probability of the Dong Zhou Dies event triggering

Total War™: Three Kingdoms — обновление 2 (бета-версия)

Второе обновление Total War™: Three Kingdoms исправляет ряд проблем со стабильностью игры, а также вносит несколько оперативных изменений, о которых неоднократно просили игроки.

В ближайшее время мы сосредоточимся на решении проблем, однако будем вносить и другие изменения, если они не скажутся на стабильной работе игры.

Покончив с неотложными исправлениями, мы начнём без ненужной спешки работать над балансом и прочими изменениями.

До тех пор обновления будут частыми; обращайтесь на форум технической поддержки, если столкнётесь с проблемами.
Как получить обновление

Это обновление предлагается как промежуточная бета-версия. Мы продолжаем вносить исправления и улучшения. Чтобы установить обновление, следуйте инструкции:

Щёлкните ПКМ по Total War: Three Kingdoms в вашей библиотеке
Выберите Свойства, а затем закладку БЕТА-ВЕРСИИ.
В выпадающем меню выберите пункт
Закройте окно, и игра обновится автоматически.

Если после установки бета-версии обновления появятся новые проблемы, вы можете откатиться на предыдущую версию. Для этого повторите вышеуказанные шаги и выберите в выпадающем меню опцию none. Если это не помогло, зайдите на форум технической поддержки и опишите нам вашу проблему.

Исправление ошибок

Исправлено несколько частых ошибок, приводивших к вылету игры.
Все многопользовательские игры теперь должны отображаться корректно.

Функциональность

Пользователи из России и Европы теперь видят вводимый в чате китайский текст.
Из списка имён для случайных персонажей удалён ряд неподобающих имён.

Баланс

Юань Шао больше не стремится сделать своими вассалами все фракции на свете. Это предварительное изменение — мы будем присматривать за поведением этого лидера и следить за отзывами игроков, чтобы внести новые изменения, если потребуется.
Генералы, лишённые качества «Жестокость», теперь не активируют событие «Пожалеешь розог — испортишь солдата». Лю Бэй больше не будет получать данное событие.
Событие, в результате которого к фракции Лю Бэя присоединяется Чжоу Юй, теперь срабатывает корректно.
Вероятность события «Смерть Дун Чжо» снижена.

Ошибка имени в Балансе, не Чжоу Юй, а Чжао Юнь.
